  13. I'm facing a peculiar problem when I'm trying to use a ZyXEL Elite
  14. 2864 modem on a cc-mail router.  It is able to make outgoing calls
  15. perfectly, but has trouble answering calls.

  17. It answers the ring, handshakes with the modem and gives a connect
  18. string (CONNECT 38400).  It then starts giving junk on the screen.
  19. (The calling modem is a Motorola Codex 3266).  When the calling modem
  20. hangs up after a while, the modem does not reset.

  22. My modem initialization string in NVRAM is ats10=200s44.7=1s13=2 and
  23. on the router batch file my /modem string is atz0&s1.

  25. The same modem works perfectly using the cc2864.mdm file when making
  26. calls from the mobil pack.

  28. Anyone have a clue or suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong.
